Tammy Gwaltney; President/CEO
Tammy has been with Beacon Health Center since its inception in 1997. Tammy graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. In 2000 she became the first and only director of Beacon Health Center. She has a background in women’s and children issues and a specialization in management of nonprofits.
Kathy Blevins; Forensic Nurse Director
Kathy has been with Beacon Health Center since its inception in 1997. She is a graduate of Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Advanced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program, Kathy is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a forensic interviewer. She has been a forensic nurse since 1994, she is internationally certified as an adult/adolescent and pediatric nurse examiner.
Uzma Aziz
Uzma joined Beacon Health Center in 2004. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics and certified as an Administrative Medical Specialist. Uzma is the Operations Director.
Lisa Baker
Lisa began working at Beacon Health Center in 2009. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Lisa is currently working towards her Master’s in Advanced Practice Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Saint Louis University. Internationally certified as a pediatric, adolescent and adult sexual assault nurse examiner, she is also a forensic interviewer.
Beth Baugh
Beth has worked at Beacon Health Center since 2008. With a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Southeast Missouri State University, Beth is currently working towards her Master’s in Social Work from Saint Louis University. Beth is passionate about working with the children and families that we serve and is an advocate and a forensic interviewer.
Jamie Buchek
Jamie joined Beacon Health Center in 2010. Specially trained in trauma-focused therapy, she works with adults and children who have been sexually abused. Her clinical experience also includes working with clients who have difficulty with depression, anxiety and relationship issues.
Kendra Eads
Kendra came to Beacon Health Center as an intern in 2004. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University. Kendra is currently working towards her Master’s in Social Work from Saint Louis University. Kendra is the Child Advocacy Center Director and a forensic interviewer.
Paula Johnston
Paula joined Beacon Health Center in 2011. She has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University. Paula works in the “Moving Kids Forward program” with the schools in Perry County.
Misti Lett-Stanfield
Misti started at Beacon Health Center in 2010. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Health Management with a minor in Marketing from Southeast Missouri State University, Misti graduated from Sikeston’s Licensed Practical Nursing Program. At Beacon Health Center, Misti serves as a nurse, hotline coordinator and forensic interviewer.
Paul Mackey
Paul has worked at Beacon Health Center since 2011. Paul has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth Texas. He also hold's a Master's in Family Nursing Practioner Program from University of Illinios in Chicago and a Doctorate degree from Warren National University in Cheyenne. He has served on faculty at Vanderbilt and Southeast Missouri Universtity. Paul is a Family Nurse Practioner at our Benton office.
Savannah Martin
Savannah has worked at Beacon Health Center since 2011. With a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University; Savannah is currently working towards a Master’s in Social Work from University of Missouri-Columbia. Savannah is a Victims Advocate for adults and children, and she greatly enjoys working with families and children.
Pam Rampley
Pam Rampley joined Beacon Health Center in 2003 assisting Leasa Stone with the Green Bear program. Pam is a retired teacher and loves being in the classroom helping keep kids safe.
Becky Simpher
Becky joined Beacon Health Center in 2010. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Becky is an adult victims’ advocate and a forensic interviewer.
Tracy Smith
Tracy joined Beacon Health Center in 2011. As an RN with 18 years experience in Women’s Health and Public Health Care, Tracy is a forensic interviewer and sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE).
Leasa Stone
Leasa Stone joined Beacon Health Center in 2003. Leasa is the creator of the “Green Bear Program” a sexual abuse prevention program for grades pre-K-12. Green Bear reaches over 6000 kids every year.
Jana Weiny
Jana started at Beacon Health Center in 2005. Working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at Southeast Missouri State University, Jana is the friendly face you will see at the Benton office.
Wendy Wilson
Wendy started at Beacon Health Center in 2010. With a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration and a minor in German from Missouri Western State University, Wendy is the face that greets visitors when they arrive at Cape Girardeau Beacon Health Center.
